Changing Lives in Salisbury and Around the World

Lions are known worldwide for their commitment to vision, hunger relief, and humanitarian aid. Here in Salisbury, we focus our energy on projects that touch lives every day:

Local Service Projects

  • High School Scholarships & Awards – Scholarships for Salisbury students and recognition for outstanding athletes.

  • Vision Screening Services – Utilizing a Spot Vision Screening Camera, over 3,000 Wicomico County students are screened annually.

  • Gifts for Kids & Santa’s Angels – Bringing joy, food, and gifts to families in need each Christmas.

  • Maryland Food Bank – Donations and hands-on support to fight hunger.

  • Salisbury Zoobilee – Partnering with the zoo to raise funds and support their mission.

  • Wilmer Eye Institute – Supporting Johns Hopkins’ cutting-edge research.

  • Leader Dog for the Blind – Funding the training of guide dogs, free of charge to recipients.

  • Blind Industries of Maryland – Helping provide employment and training opportunities for people who are blind.
